Congratulations to Philip Bailey and Mo Haykir of KHP Group on winning CrowdProperty's Project of the Year 2020 for Wyndham Hall, Plymouth!

The winning project saw the conversion of a detached former listed chapel last used as a gymnasium into 6 separate high-end HMOs providing a total of 30 rooms all with en-suites and generous communal areas.

Mo Haykir, Director at KHP Group, said: "Wyndham Hall was in a really bad state of disrepair but we could see the potential to provide a really nice co-living scheme in the building...We're really, really proud of the finished product.

"It was so easy working with CrowdProperty: they understand the project, they understand developers, they understand the key risks involved and they make it very easy to access the funds. It was a really simple and easy process, which is one of the key things you want when you're doing a development - that certainty of knowing that you're going to get the funds when you need them."

Michael Bristow, CEO and Co-Founder of CrowdProperty, added: "Congratulations to Mo and Philip, and to all the finalists - all very impressive developments and exits in the toughest of years.

"Our mission is to transform property finance to unlock the power of SME property developers throughout the UK - to build more homes, increase spend in the UK economy and ever more efficiently and effectively match the supply and demand of capital for the benefit of all."
