CrowdProperty CEO Mike Bristow speaks to Brickflow about the P2P space and the part it has to play in the future of property lending.

Non-bank lenders have filled the space that has been left by traditional lenders retreating from the specialist finance market and P2P is a key contributor to that  market. The P2P model offers fantastic returns to investors, at a time when returns are hard to come by, and offers SME housebuilders an outlet for schemes which might not be attractive to traditional lenders (due to lack of in-house expertise, as we explain in our Funding Innovation blog). It works for both sides, but there is a careful balance of risk and reward.

Brick by Brick is a new podcast for the property development industry. Each episode features experts and stakeholders from across the sector, sharing ideas and advice on how to get ahead of the game as a property developer, along with news, trends and insights from across the industry.
